Event background
The 9th China Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition which was held between 23-26 June 2008 was a huge success.
A total of 30,000 m2 of exhibition space had been sold.
The event had attracted 762 companies from over 30 countries around the world.
More than 300 media around the world had contribute to marketing the event.
From day one right to the end, number of visitors kept incresing day by day.
According to statistics, in tota over 68,532 registered visitors joined the event, among which 98% were professionals and 30% were foreigners.
Moreover, 98% of foreign visitors aimed at purchasing and cooperating with Chinese manufactures.

The exhibitors's survey shows that most exhibitiors are satisfied with the exhibition and have achived their expectation.
88% of exhibitors thought the event was "very good" and "good", 12% thought it was "ok".
From negotiation point of view, 58% of exhibitiors managed to acquire new business and 73% of exhibitors would continue to follow up on contacts gained.
95% visitors speak very highly of the scale, booth decoration, equipment, product varietiy and staff's professionalism.
A large number of visitors think that this exhibition is an indispensible stage for them to study technology and purchase products of good quality.
